how can i fix my passenger seat?

my passenger seat in my peugot 206 has been put down to alow the passengers in the back seats of the car to get out but as i have put the seat down i have heard an unpleasent clicking sound and now my seat will not go back up into its upright position, what is the easiest way to fix this please help me
