2002 Mitsubishi Carisma 1.6 Petrol Wont Start?

Friends car, he was driving onto motorway getting his speed up then started to loose power and it shut down will not restart,it turn's over, no fuel pressure lots of fuel in tank.I can't see any fuse or relay for the fuel pump in both fuse boxes,can't see anything about fuel pump in handbook either.Took every fuse out they all looked fine. Took the intank fuel pump out to bench test pump and it works,When the fuel pump is in the car connected it doesn't seem to do anything, should hear a buzz but hear nothing.Is there a fuel reset switch hidden relay or fuse on this thing somewhere? :-/
