Mend CANDY DS1 795 Door Catch Plastic

How to repair my Door Catch on a CANDY dishwasher DS1 795?

There is a plastic lever at the top inside edge of the door catch that releases and locates the door catch, this has overridden its point of location and will not spring back, consiquently the door will now not locate and lock in position. I'm told it is a simple prosess to fix the problem with a flat scew driver, but I'm missing something as I'm having no success. Please can you help Len

This question helped me a bunch !

From the front of our Diplomat / Candy clone dishwasher with the panel removed there are three slots top dead centre. These had slipped in and up out of their seats.

I used a swiss army knife blade to ease them back until they snapped into seating properly and the door now latches again. Saved me a $50 call out! Thanks !
