Hi , Like some of the other e-mails the sewing machine starts to run when powered from mains. I cannot open the casing of the foot pedal. There is one main screw which I removed , and also a nut which I cannot remove. I am thinking this nut is (screw ' d from inside) holding something
Is there some way of popping it open.
depending on the type of foot control some you need to pry open ,others got small screw at hinge point that need to be removed and hinge pin will come out, others you have to remove the rubber strips at bottom to get to screws.only way is to look carefull,luckily the universal foot control is easy to open and cheap to replace
