Mend Domena SP1900 Steam Iron Indicator

My Domena Steam Iron SP1900 is not working?

I have not used my iron for a while and so I had it stored safely in the spare room. I have come to use it today and its not working. No indicator light is on, I cannot explain it???

Any help/advice would be great

Dont know if this will work but have you tried the obvious things e.g. the fuse in the plug and is the lead connected to the sp1900 try another appliance in the socket to make sure the socket is working
