Hi, wondering if you can help me? My thomson digital tv recorder can no longer record as the tv guide is empty. Ican still watch the tv through it but as the guide is empty it will not record, have tried to retune but nothing happened. Is there a way to reset the box or reeboot it? Many thanks
You can reboot simply by turning off the mains at the socket.
A reset is:
Menu
4 (set up )
6 (help )
then press the green button.
To restore the factory settings, press the red button.
Note: By carrying out this operation, any recordings will be lost.
If you carry out this operation after say 11.00 am , then no downloads with be received tonight, as this is the time the epg download takes place.
