I have just purchased this alarm with separate keypad with all wiring and accessories pirs contacts etc.With the alarm I got the instructions.The keypad has its wiring,but it has been disconnected from the main alarm panel.Does anyone know where I connect the wires to in the box. I presume I have to connect it up before I power it up. can any one shed some light on this wiring issue please.
no one uses the wiring in the engineering manual,as you know acorn,to do so is to invite probs :-)

No seriously guys,.I usually lash rpks with owt I have,but on these I use the correct colour coding as per manual.
If I didn't, and the op was to refer to the install manual for anything relating to the rkp.he/she would be concerned that I have installed the incorrect wiring.
Its this attention to detail that means everything when you have a long career ahead of you :P

The cable colours are no name's choice.
The colours makes no difference whatsoever, they just HAVE to be the same at both ends.

On the code pad cb board you will see...
DATA

If the code pad has been wired correctly.....
Yellow = DATA
green = CLK
red = CP+
