You don't need to call a engineer,you can silence the chime yourself.

Turning chime off
1 key in your access/user code

2 press 7

The display shows;

( chime = on)

press 7 again to toggle

(chime=off)

3 press the tick icon

no more anoying chime

Google for the user manual,you will require abode reader to view the PDF download.

Put in your code, press 7.
Display will show "Chime on" press 7 display shows "Chime off"
Press Tick.

SD she mentions moving in, at least be kind. She has given the issue and the make and model, most do not.
