Bissell Bissell ProHeat 2X Household Appliances, Vacuum Cleaners Changed Not Working

I was told that when the motor goes it often takes the curcuit board with it http://www.spares2you.co.uk/Bissell_ProHeat_Printed_Circuit_Board_2036882. I dont know for sure if this is true but I found the fault on my motor and it still does not work so I'm assuming the circuit board has gone on mine. got a vax now so no hurry to fix bissel
