Mend Ford Fuel Pump Car

is it fuel pump not working, R reg fiesta zetec 1.2?

car turns over ok, but won't start,was working I stalled it and that was it. I can not here the fuel pump make any noise when i turn on the ignition, have checked fuses they seem to be all ok. Is it a new pump or something i have over looked, can anybody help at all.

it will be the 12 volt wire, the 2 coloured thick one under your back seat. These get burned out. you need to drop the tank or cut a hole in the metal to get to the connector to strip back and re-fit the wire. This is a common problem on these.

might be that inertia switch has been activated? check handbook to see where it's situated,[poss in side of one of footwells], and reset it.
