Bosch classix dishwasher not starting cycle and making a whining noise?

I had a similar problem to others on this thread with a Bosch Classixx dishwasher not starting its cycle. I had previously laid the dishwasher onto its LHS which did the trick but after returning from holiday the check water light comes on and the drain cycle kicks in just like before except now there is a high pithced whine and the tilting trick isn't working. The water matrix seems quite difficult to remove on this model SGS45CO2GB/11 and I have no idea where the noise is coming from. I have cleaned inlet hose, checked drain impeller etc. Any suggestions please?
