With a new oil filter you will need 5.4 litres of 10W30 or 10W40 semi-synthetic

Take out the dipstick and you will see a minimum/ maximum mark on it. Put in enough oil to reach the maximum level, start the engine and run for a few minutes. Turn the engine off and wait for 5 minutes for the oil level to settle. Check the oil level and top up as required, simples. Now why haven't you thought of doing that.
