removed sock from outer cyliner / inner drum ?

is the sock down the front between the rubber door seal and the stainless inner drum?.get a torch and look 360 deg as it could be anywhere.if it is there make a strong hook and hook the sock.gently pull sock out whilst moving (rocking) the drum left to right
