How to fix my indesit w103?

I have an Indesit W103 and every time I put it on any cycle it starts the cycle fills the drum and then bout 30 seconds later empties the drum and and dial starts to tick round untill i go back, turn it off, and try again, can take up to 10 times to get it to start the cycle.
the light flashes 8 times when the dial clickes round
Any ideas, save me, its doing my head in
