my 3 year old sanyo 42 in hd tv will turn on but thats it ?

The screen display says there is no input. My grandaughter got a hold of the remote for 10 sec an god knows what she did. I check and rechecked all the connections.
the only thing the remote will do is do a channel search when the channel up button is pushed.

Got any ideas? thanks
