Mend Wont Come Down

weights won't come down?

The weights on my grandmothers clock won't come down. I must have pulled them up too far. The middle one is the only one that is working.

I had the same problem. The weights were wound too high. When the pendulum was swinging, it would stop within a few minutes. We just repeated staring the pendulum a few times. The weights eventually lowered, and took over contolling the pendulum.
