how can i fix jammed blade on NLE210Ms compound mitre saw?

NLE210MS compound mitre saw. The blade went up but wont come back down. can you help please.

not sure what you mean by blade going up.but i have a similar model with solid blade. stripped it down to find plastic cooling fan welded to its housing ,yet to find fan good luck

Hi, I don't know what make that is but I've found that it is the guard going a little bit further up than it should that can cause this problem, it goes a little over centre and sticks.Switch the power off and engage it as you would to pull down and cut but at the same time pull the guard down by hand,it might be a bit fiddly but look at that area first.Good luck
