Mend Rover 45 Restart Running Out

rover45 wont restart after running out of petrol?

rover 45 i ran out of petrol now ive filled up my car wont start again

It would take time to pull the petrol through, also check if you have a reset button for the pump, in the spare wheel box, above the tank, some cars do, should not of tripped, but worth a check.
