sending Emails???is back to haunt me?

I've been told on the net to move port 25 to 587 is this correct?
it seems to work for now.

I'm not using ssl just the standard port 25.
everything was OK before it just seemed to stop for no apparent reason? all the settings seem OK as they were before.
I'm lost? Don't know what to do.
come on my good man you've helped me in the past I need your expertise.

CRLF or CR LF
Cariage Return. Marks the end of a line.
Line Feed. Instruct to start a new line, or go to the next line.

There is something wrong in your configuration.

Using port 25 for secure, SSLT, connection? It's probably the wrong port.
Port 25 is the standard port for ordinary connection.

Carriage (or Carrier) Return, Line Feed. Its a control character, as opposed to Alphameric.
