Am I correct in saying that the burner starts first then after a few seconds the boiler comes on?
the burner starts up fine and will keep running even though the boiler has not started.
The problems Ive had before were always with the burner eg. faulty capacitor etc
Ive never had this problem before with the boiler not coming on
it sounds like the burner is running without a flame.
this could either the photocell or control box.

air pressure switch poss faulty .fan on 1st,then air pressure switch then ignition then gas.all combis same procedure.try making air pressure switch by sucking / blowing down tubes to switch.
