My Maxx 1200 screeching noises when in spin mode?

My Maxx1200 is making unpleasant screeching noises when in spin mode.
On closer inspection I see that behind the grey plastic shroud inside the front door there is a white harder plastic section which appears to be a bearing surface for the washing drum to rotate upon or in.
The gap between this white bearing surface is varying as the drum rotates suggesting to me that either the white circular bearing component has shifted or is out of shape or the drum itself is not rotating uniformly inside of the bearing surface.
How do I fix this?
