Ignis ADL347 is not washing the dishes properly?

The dishwasher is not washing the dishes properly. Dinner plates and cups etc come out looking partially washed. There are still food deposits on them and they have to be washed by hand. From what I can tell the water is heating up correctly as dishes are still hot/warm after a cycle. Also noticed that the detergent tablet does not always seem to dissolve properly in the machine. Any help and or advice greatly appreciated.
