hotpoint wd420p leaking?

find and unblock the filter (on mine wma 58) is was behind the removable panel at back near the bottom on the right hand side >>> undo the large jubilee clip at the top of the black conical rubber housing & remove all the junk blocking the filte,r the plastic cone and ball are removable >> hope it works for you it did the trick on mine

the detergent draw might be blocked at the back of it were the tubes run down into the drum, with hard washing power/ ect, and the water is running back out the draw when in the wash cycle, try pouring hot water into the draw,, as much as you can to clear it, it should run down into the drum very fast if not its blocked,
