Common problem with the 206(just replaced ours)you have to replace the complete stalk assembly,it is called a COMM2000 unit and costs about £190.00 from PUG dealer,a local auto electrician fitted ours for £30.00.The wheel has to come off and the airbag disconnected,I wouldn't try it and I do loads of work on cars.The unit can't be repaired and I wouldn't buy a one from an auction site claiming refurb,the cost difference ain't much.The new units don't suffer the same fault as your model.Good luck.
