Fridge condensation drain hole?

Probably a very daft question, but where does the water go to? Does it recirculate somehow?

You will find a plastic trough sat on top of the compressor in the back, the drain goes to that, with the heat of the compressor water will then evaporate from it. So in one way it does recirculate, back to the atmosphere, which is where the moisture in the fridge came from in the first place
