Mend Countax Lawn Mower Battery Briggs And Stratton

My Countax (briggs and stratton) won't start?

Battery fully charged, park brake switch seems to work but turning the key does nothing. Kill switch is fine.

Forgot to add: my mower is a ride-on marked just Countax 30 with Briggs & Stratton 11.5 hp engine.

Its fairly old - over 10yrs...

Sorry not an answer but I have the same problem. I started in first time after winter - it fired ok (so was impressed) - did some mowing switched off and tried to start it abt 30 mins later - NOTHING...
I replaced the battery with my car's - still NOTHING.

Does anyone know if it has a starter motor or an alternator? If so , any manuals on how I can remove and replace....
