Mend FUNAI DBVR-6510 Problem Shut Fault

How to fix problem mentioned below?

Problem: VCR tend to shut down after few seconds, it seems something to do with mechanics. Could it be the LED at fault, I mean the beam light from LED which control the operation? DVD op fine.
