Mend Baxi SOLO2 50PF Boiler Heating System

Why won't it come on for my heating?

Hi
I have a baxi solo 2 50pf boiler which clicks in to heat my water up but it won't come on for my heating. My heating works when i run the hot water tap but as soon as i turn it off the heating goes off. Please help, i have no idea about boilers etc so don't know any of the fancy words but i can't afford to call someone out to fix it.

Baxi Baxi SOLO2 50PF Heating, Home Heating Systems Boiler Heating System

Unfortunately your gonna have to call someone out, it sounds like the motorised valve that selects to heat either heating or hot water is faulty or there is a wiring fault but would be unlikely as i would guess it has worked ok in the past
