How can I open my Bernina 1090 S foot pedal control so I can replace the cord?

remove small rectangular plastic insert at back,remove 4 small screws,unclip top piece where slide is located.carefull not to brake pin on slide,a bit more diffucult and time comsumeing to put back together as you have to get the slide back in its place.possible if you got patience
