the tumbledryer is no longer heating, every thing else is still working including the fan, I have replaced the thermostate with no effect.

you do not say if you did replace both,the only other problem could be heater or a loose wire on the timer ,the wire is prone to vibrate loose. open the panel at back of control and check wire(red)
