Mend Volkswagen Transporter Van Side Locks

Unlocking volkswagon transporter van side sliding door?

In using the automatic key the locks keep on moving up and down. The cab doors will open and the back door will open but not the sliding side door.

In one of the doors the central locking actuator solenoid will have failed. Needs a new one. Work systematically to trouble shoot and identify which one.
