53 plate transit ?

you could remove inlet to turbo and feel for play in impeller,these are bad to get clean again when the oil cooler goes and is a hassle,but have flushed out system with a detergent before,run it for a day or two, drain system and refill and does quite a good job but is nigh on impossible to get rid of all oil,you may find in the future that some hoses may give you some problems with contact to some oil,good luck

yes its got a turbo. oil cooler went filled cooling system with oil then over heated, so i fitted recon engine,new rad, water pump,vac pump, checked and cleaned all pipes, starts straight away no misfires, knocking. smoke runs as sweet as a nut but got a job to get 60 mph! turbo ???

does it have a turbo? if so check for split hoses and connections at intercooler and intake system in general,have the filters been done?
