my ge dryer just makes a humming sound it dont tumble?

sounds like the start capcitor for the motor has blown,its a round object either on or near the motor with wires on it the value of the micofads of the capacitor is printed on it,get same unit and all will be well,take note of the connections before you remove them,remove the mains plug from socket before you work on the machine
