Mend Door Bought Replacement

door panel fixing?

Can fixing beads be bought to allow replacement of a 24mm panel with a 28mm thick door panel?
My existing full height door panel is damaged and I have a replacement but its 4mm thicker.
A bodged job of hardwood beads, screws, and silicon.or cutting the existing beads is a poor option.
Are upvc beads available?
