Fitting replacement second-hand rear door?

I've just bought a second-hand rear door (drivers side) for my Connect van. How do I remove the lock from it as it did not come with a key? Also, I noticed that the wiring on the S/H door is not colour coded, all of the wires are coloured black yet on my van door they are colour coded!!! This could be the job from hell ... ANY advice welcomed ... thanks!

Hi Jim ... thanks for the reply. I removed the clip as you said but the barrel refuses to come out. Not sure if there is anything else holding it in. I'll have a look. I think the wires are fixed to a plastic plug and as you said I may be able to remove and replace with existing wires as the plug seems to be the same. Why are things so complicated? Cheers.

Remove the door lining. Vehicle lock barrels are usually held with a thin clip that slides across just lever it over with a flat screwdriver. You can probably disconnect the existing wires and pull them gently out of the old door then feed them into the second hand door. Theres not that many wires just make a note and be methodical.
