disconnect the machine from the mains first
remove the top cover
then disconnect the wires from the on/off switch and small pipe on the control panel.disconnect the ribbon cable from the side of the cabinet then remove the two screws holding the panel in place.it slides downwards to allow removal.feed the ribbon cable carefully through the front of the machine being careful of any sharp edges.
remove the three screws holding the front cover in place.take off the pump filter cover.then pull the front panel outwards very slightly while lifting the whole cover upwards.you will need care doing this to prevent damaging the tabs that hook into the cabinet.disconnect the harness to the interlock assy.
finally undo the two screws holding the broken hinge and fit the new one.reassembly is the more tricky part but if you are careful you will be ok.
