When I switch on my central heating or hot water, the 'fan on' and 'pilot on' come on but the boiler does not come on. I have been told it may be the gas valve that needs replaced. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
If your pilot has not lit then it will probably be the pilot solenoid
situated on the left hand side.if your any good test to see if you get 240 volts on N&L with a multi tester.these solenoids can be removed from the whole valve and will cost less.

COULD BE GAS PRESSURE, VALVE,ELECTRONIC START, PCB BOARD. NEEDS TO BE TESTED WITH A ELECTRICS TESTER.
