Mend Siemens WM14S494GB/23 Outlet Hose Washing

How does the outlet hose fit into my Seimans WM14S494GB/23 Washing machine?

I have a Seimans WM14S494GB/23 Washing machine. The outlet hose developed a leak and I have brought a new outlet hose to fit but am having difficulty removing it from the pump end. Does it have to twist to locate in place or is it just a really firm push fit?
