Mend Peugeot 307cc System Fault Problems

is there a common solution to depollution system fault warning on peugeots?

I have a 4yr old 307cc with no problems before yesterday when warning light came on after 700 mile dash across france filling up on 38oct petrol. acceleration is now very poor
