Mend Weed Eater Plug Pulled Cord

Weedwacker won't start?

As soon as it starts it floods, even when not choked. removed the plug and pulled starter cord and gas came into the head??

Sounds like the float is sticking in the carb, take off carb and thoroughly clean.
Or if a diaphram carb then one of them has a hole in, a replacement set of diaphrams is needed,
