zanussi tc 4113w water coming out of the back?

I recently took the water tank out to empty it and found a spring and plastic tube had come off the machine and was on the floor, I can't see where they haver come from. Since then water is not draining into the tank but is coming out the backl of the machine onto the floor, any ideas where the tube (4cm long 1 cm diameter) and spring have come from?
