LG BL40 New Chocolate?

I have an lg bl40 new chocolate phone. It rings ok when I receive a call but I can't hear the caller and they can't hear me. I have recently replaced the screen and the back cover. Do you think this makes any difference. P.S. I was careful when replacing the screen.
