Mend Hotpoint Aquarius 1000 deluxe Washing Machine Motor Bearing

Hotpoint Aquarius 1000 deluxe Drum won't turn?

I've checked the drive belt and drum bearing. Both OK. but motor isn't turning.

Checked connections on motor and board. Socket on the motor connector seems loose but I don't know what it's supposed to be like.

Any pointers would be greatfully recieved

hi if this is a top motor(situated on the top of the drum)most probably motor brushes have gone(DONT FORGET POWER OFF WHEN WORKING) any more probs msdapudsey1@msn.com
