tricity bendix aw 900?

My machines drum has stopped going round, otherwise fine. What is the likely cause, can i get spares and can i diy it? Any answers gratefully appreciated

remove the motor brushes and check the carbon bit is at least 10mm long.if they are short gently pull the carbon bit out refit and test.if the motor works replace the brushes asap as permanent damage can be caused using it with stretched brushes
