Can I fix flow meter Fisher & Paykel Nemo DW681ES?

If the flow meter does need replacing, are we able to do it ourselves or do we need a tech to do?

I had a 7 flash fault code on my model DW681ES which is flow meter fault.
I removed the left panel of the DW and removed the tiny circuit board from the bottom of the water container where the inlet water goes.
Once I had this piece out I cleaned it including the connectors terminals and reseated it back into the plastic container thing
DW worked after that- no 7 flash fault code
