where is airbag sensor positioned in front of 04 vw Passat 1.9 tdi

Nigel the airbag light dont go out when i start the car i put it on the computer and it gave fault as airbag Sensor passenger side fault where do i find this Sensor ?? now as the vw is made in Germany the passenger side may be left or right side i was told ???

The main sensor for the steering wheel and passengers airbags is in the airbag control unit which is mounted behind the center console on the central tunnel, the side airbag sensors are mounted under the front seats
