Mend BMW K100RS Cold Starting Start

1985 k100 rs cold starting and stalling?

my 1985 k100 rs will start very hard when cold and you have to feather the throttle to keep it running. it does run pretty good when warm. it also idles from 800 rpm to 1500 rpm when cold. temp sensor????
