Mend Epson Connected Worked Perfectly

My Epson stylus8400 printer is totally dead,?

My printer has been connected to my PC for 2 years and has worked perfectly. Now it will not turn on at all. I have changed the power lead and it still will not work.

Hazel, did you find a solution? Found this page via Google, have an Epson DX4450 that will not turn on.

Must admit, did not turn off printer before switching off the power. Could that be a possible cause?

if you have changed the lead and no different. I would look at the internal power supply transformer of your printer this is 240/12v and this is mounted inside at the bottom rear of the top casing, i suspect the transformer is where your fault is.
