Hoover windtunnel shuts off when over heated why??

Hoover Windtunnel Part# U6426-920 shuts off after 2 minutes of use, why ? I have replaced the bag, cleaned filters etc..

It's probably the motor itself. If so, you probably can't repair it. You'd have to buy a new one or get it replaced at a Hoover repair shop. When I went, they said it would cost 40 for labor and 160 for parts. The same store also had a refurbished unit identical to mine for 150.
