Hoover VHV380 Dryer - motor doesnt run ?

Hi all, my Hoover VHV 380 tumble dryer motor doesnt run. Switch on and heaters kick in - but nowt else! Took plug off motor and tested but no power getting to it. Put voltage straight to motor and runs ok. Checked all connections and all tight and no burning apparent. Could it be PCB? there are couple of what look like relays on the board, soldered in of course, just to make replacement awkward. Anyone got any ideas?? Thank you Andy S.
